C&K Careers’ ICT team maintains the Client Caseload Information System (CCIS) of all young people in Calderdale and Kirklees. This comprehensive database is used to support the work of our advisers and young people in and not in education, employment and training.
The CCIS provides essential management information for local authorities, schools, colleges, training providers and employers, as well as annual returns for the Department for Education, such as the Annual Activity Survey of Year 11 leavers, September Guarantee and data for the monthly NCCIS (National Client Caseload Information System).
Databases, websites and apps
Our ICT team provides vital technical support to all C&K Careers teams working on internal and external contracts. It helped to web-enable the content for the CLiK, (Community Learning in Kirklees) online searchable course database; and hosts the site.
Effective use of technology is seen as an embedded feature of the IAG delivery ... This was particularly well demonstrated across the participation advisers who are equipped with mobile technologies to support their outreach delivery. Care is taken to support clients in making good use of ICT with frequently visited websites well positioned on public access computers. matrix report, January 2016.
