At C&K Careers we take the matrix Quality Standard very seriously. Matrix is 'seen as the organisation's business improvement tool to shape service planning, delivery and evaluation'.
C&K Careers last met the matrix Standard in November 2012 and since then we have successfully overcome the national economic challenges to ensure we retain high quality IAG provision for both young people and adults in the Calderdale and Kirklees, and further afield. The assessment looked at all aspects of the business, from our IAG practices to our specialist services, such as information, special educational needs and disability (SEND) and recruitment.
Our commitment to matrix and all it underpins is made clear by our appointment of a Standard Internal Champion, to support the assessment process.
The investment in training an Internal Champion is reaping business benefits as illustrated by the enhancement of our monitoring and evaluation practices since the last external review. Our Self Assessment Report activities are conducted against the matrix Standard. The external assessor found the rigour with which we carry out self assessment to be 'impressive'.
Our Internal Champion and management colleagues have successfully supported the C&K Careers workforce to reshape the whole of our organisation's vision and strategic direction, as well as implementing refreshed core values. C&K Careers is totally committed to striving for excellence across all aspects of its service delivery.
Gaining the matrix Standard again has got 2016 off to a great start. It confirms the commitment, dedication and hard work of all who work for C&K Careers.
“C&K Careers is a responsive organisation. They listen to feedback and modify delivery approaches swiftly. Customers continually praise their careers adviser. I am hugely impressed with them at both strategic and operational levels'. Customer interviewed for the matrix Report, January 2016.
