Young people not in education, employment or training

We work with Kirklees Council and Calderdale Council to ensure every young person in those areas has the opportunity and support needed to access employment, training or study. We work with them to create a plan of action, taking time to find out what support is needed and to understand their individual circumstances. This intensive support has enabled us to achieve some of the top NEET and Not Known figures in our region.

Our Adult Team work with Kirklees and Calderdale residents via Kirklees Works Better 15-24, Calderdale Adult Learning Fund, Kirklees Adult and Community Learning and Kirklees Community Learning Works. Our Careers, information, advice and guidance work with adults helps to prepare them for work or further study by building their confidence, work related skills, or referring them to other provision where needed.

'One of the major strengths of C&K Careers is the comprehensive nature of the IAG services provided. This represents considerable capacity and expertise to respond to virtually all aspects and needs of the careers education and guidance sector.' Matrix Assessment report 2019
